Making PLR Work Now..

PLR Now

Using Private Label Rights materials is something that we are constantly told is a good thing, something that ‘works’ for internet marketers and online entrepreneurs.

But, did you ever wonder why?

Here’s the answer, and I’m willing to bet that you’ve never thought of it like this before.

PLR works, quite simply, because it leverages your time.

You’re no longer tied to researching, producing, editing, drafting, re-editing, redrafting, laying out, and then polishing the content you need in any niche, and even more importantly, you’re not even tied to niches you have more than a passing knowledge in.

Before, to credibly produce content for any site, you’d either need to BE an expert or HIRE an expert.

The ‘be or hire’ mentality soon pervaded every niche, simply because it was easy to spot who was putting up research and who had passion. To see just who was throwing up Adsense sites to make money, and who was monetizing their hobby.

Who was using Adsense to support their interest – and who were simply feigning interest?

And, on top of that, those that WERE experts were finding themselves being overlooked, ignored or even ripped off, and their content appearing on other sites. Things got ugly on the web, and to combat that, writers began charging more for their work.

Which, of course, was also a good thing because quality writing became harder to find as more and more people began to think that all it took to make money was to put up a couple of sites and wait.

PLR broke that mould very quickly. People could be instant experts – in fact, as long as you’ve got some editing skills, and can afford to spend a little time adding your own slant to the content, and understanding what the niche was, you could become the expert, and also make money.

The problem now?

People don’t use PLR properly.

They put it up, and follow the paths of gurus that barely understand what they are supposed to be doing with the content, without understanding the Google Slap, and then wonder why they aren’t even making pennies in Adsense.

Yet, it’s possible to make so much more with PLR, and we’re going to walk you through how, because when used properly the reason WHY PLR works is because it makes the author of the site, or the website itself a credible source of quality information, written well.

Using and editing PLR is essential because without making the content unique, you’ll actually lose standing as an expert – in the search engines AND with your readers.

The secret to making content unique is to edit it in your own style – its not simply about replacing a percentage of the words and tidying it up simply to make it fit – the best edited PLR uses the PLR as a starting point and converts it into something that speaks to your readers in a personality that’s all you, and still contains the information in the starter article.

Most people don’t do that though, and by and large, it’s why PLR ‘fails’.

They take no time out to fix the content up to make it unique. If you can make the content work for you, you’re less likely to get caught by Google’s rules.

Using Bidvertiser

If you have a website or a blog that you are trying to make money from, then perhaps you use contextual advertising?

If so, I have news for you that is probably not news at all!

AdSense is not as effective as it used to be.

So, I’ve been looking at all of the viable alternatives (see the most recent posts) because I am getting a bit fed up of just watching my earnings fall.

Bidvertiser is one such service that I have heard great things about, and it is thus one that I am going to try on this site.

Here’s why:

Advertisers that use Bidvertiser bid against one another to appear on a publisher’s site. So, it stands to reason that if your site or blog is popular, then the bids to appear thereon will be higher, and so will your earnings.

You will always be showing the highest paid ads on your site, thus your earnings are maximized.

You only have to earn $10 before they pay out and it goes straight to PayPal – no waiting around for the check from ‘Big G’ to arrive!

So, I can see a lot of advantages to using Bidvertiser and, of course, it’s free to sign up. So, thats what I have done, and we’ll see how it goes…..

Leave The Dead Horse Alone…!

I recently made a posting over on my other blog at webbiz99.com about a new contextual ad program called ShoppingAds, which looked quite interesting

The last offering from the same company, AuctionAds did very well at first, and I heard some good things about this one, so I gave it a ‘test’ shot.

Here’s a tip that I learned a long time ago. Test something and if it works, keep using it.

If, however, it does not……….

My ShoppingAds stats? 500 views, number of clicks……….zero!

Oh, well, back to AdSense!

Moral of the tale? Don’t waste time flogging a dead horse!

Sticking With IT!

Bigger! Better! Faster! I want it now! I want millions!

That seems to be the popular thought process of the majority of people that join this business. I do not know who to point the finger at, maybe even myself because I have fallen victim to the lies and hype so many times before but why must we keep feeding these beasts?

Let’s put it this way, success is NOT achieved in this business by jumping ship every 2 weeks. I call it slot machine marketing, and the ‘guru’s’ call it their meal ticket. Folks, it takes time to build a business. Whether it’s online, offline or elsewhere, real results are not measured by how quick you get in on a new matrix. It’s not determined how many people you refer to a program in a week. It takes time and effort!

I get e-mails every week from people that are fed up with a business after only a month or two of promoting it? Let’s be honest, what REAL business can you name that has put the owners into profit after only 2 months of work? What about the months of planning before the program was launched? What about the endless hours of programming? Marketing? Analysis? Not to mention the money! It does not happen overnight.

I urge you to rethink joining that brand new matrix that got released last week. Or that wonderful auto surf that promises millions from simply ‘re-investing’…Take your time! Build the ground work for a successful business model. If you are involved in an affiliate program, get involved in it and see what you can do to help out. Just don’t jump ship when things get rough.

I hate using ‘popular sayings’ but this one is so true…Rome was not built in a day! And neither should your online business.

Using Offline 12 Month Millionaire Tactics

So, today is the day that The 12 Month Millionaire interviews are released by Russell Brunson and Vince James, and I, for one, must say that I am looking forward to it, for a couple of reasons (no idea? Watch the free trailer video here)

First, I am a big fan of marketing offline, and cannot understand why so few online marketers seem to use offline promotional methods and tactics. Are all IMers total ostriches?

The main reason is that it has seemed very clear to me for a long time that Internet Marketing, in particular, is incredibly incestuous.

It is all about the same old people in IM trying to sell the same old products to other people who are already involved in IM.

Does that make business sense to you?

No, me neither!

So, instead of following the same track as everyone else, maybe what you should be doing is looking for fresh, unjaded customers’ offline, people who perhaps are not even aware that making money online is a realistic option for them.

These people do not approach IM with any preconceptions (such things are almost always bad) and they are just far, far more receptive to new ideas, is what I have found in my own offline efforts.

If you are the person who introduces them to this wonderful (profitable) world and then leads them by the hand through it, don’t you think that those people might be your loyal followers and customers?

That is why several of my businesses are structured to focus offline, and a couple more that will hit the streets very soon will take this even further.

Second, the free report that I highlighted below has moved the goalposts a little as well. Most of these ‘free taster’ reports have little intrinsic value, but Russell’s certainly does. I fact, I almost felt he gave away too much of what he as going to be doing with The 12 Month Millionaire project, if such a thing is possible.

It definitely whetted the appetite to see the real product and may, I believe, represent a very positive move towards a greater openness when selling the kinds of IM products that are usually deliberately shrouded in mystery.

Anyway, once again, here is the link for the free trailer video – and there is absolutely no sign up or opt-in necessary to watch it, so go there now.

A ‘Must-Read’ Free Report…

Another FREE report and this one really is a goodie.

From the always excellent Russell Brunson, it’s a challenging and thought provoking read which I would urge you to grab and have a look at.

No matter that it is definitely a forerunner of some kind of major product launch.

It’s free, and it’s worth reading, so get it, and do so!

Here’s the basic premis.

Everybody knows that the most important asset for any internet marketer is their list.

No matter what autoresponder you use, if you don’t have a list of qualified buyers, you’re never going to make the big money.

But what if you woke up one morning and your autoresponder service got wiped out by some freak of nature?

Here’s another scenario: what if your pay-per-click campaign got shut down? Or new spam laws prevented your emails from getting delivered?

If you aren’t keeping up with the changes in technology (or your autoresponder goes up in smoke) you’re outta luck.

Russell claims that he realized this a long time ago and decided to do something about it. He introduced offline marketing techniques into his marketing mix and has tripled his business every year since!

He created a controversial report called the “IM-Myth” where he explains how he did it.

You can get it for nothing here.

Read it…and be prepared for a huge “A-HA” moment.
